1. Change the Password

• Log in to the Gmail account and immediately change the password to something strong and unique.
• Use a combination of:
  • Uppercase and lowercase letters.
  • Numbers.
  • Special characters.

2. Update Recovery Information

• Go to Google Account Settings → Security → Ways we can verify it’s you.
• Change or add Recovery email: Replace it with an email address you own.
