How to secure gmail accounts that I bought from others

Securing Gmail accounts purchased from others is crucial to ensure long-term access and protect them from being reclaimed by the original owner or compromised by others. Here are the steps to secure such accounts ( You should complete at least step 1 & step 2)

1. Change the Password

  • Log in to the Gmail account and immediately change the password to something strong and unique.
  • Use a combination of:
    • Uppercase and lowercase letters.
    • Numbers.
    • Special characters.

2. Update Recovery Information

  • Change or add:
    • Recovery email: Replace it with an email address you own.
    • Recovery phone number: Add a phone number you control.

3. Review and Remove Linked Devices
