How to secure gmail accounts that I bought from others

Securing Gmail accounts purchased from others is crucial to ensure long-term access and protect them from being reclaimed by the original owner or compromised by others. Here are the steps to secure such accounts ( You should complete at least step 1 & step 2)
1. Change the Password
- Log in to the Gmail account and immediately change the password to something strong and unique.
- Use a combination of:
- Uppercase and lowercase letters.
- Numbers.
- Special characters.
2. Update Recovery Information
- Go to Google Account Settings → Security → Ways we can verify it’s you.
- Change or add:
- Recovery email: Replace it with an email address you own.
- Recovery phone number: Add a phone number you control.
3. Review and Remove Linked Devices
- Go to Google Account Settings → Security → Your devices.
- Check for suspicious devices and remove any that aren’t yours.
4. Check and Revoke App Access
- Go to Google Account Settings → Security → Third-party apps with account access.
- Remove access for any unfamiliar apps or services.
5. Review Forwarding and Filters
- Open Gmail → Settings → See all settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
- Ensure there are no unknown forwarding rules or email filters that send messages to another address.
6. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
